Neo Dinamo is a captivating art project that immerses viewers into a dystopian world where the delicate balance of existence is controlled by five elemental towers. These towering structures, each representing a distinct element - Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Universe, have long served as beacons of harmony, ensuring the smooth flow of life in the land of Neo Dinamo.
However, an ominous force of corruption has suddenly struck these elemental towers, plunging the once thriving world into chaos. As a result, various cults have emerged, vying for control over the corrupted towers and the power they hold. The art project delves deep into this narrative, exploring the consequences of this disruption and the struggle for dominance.
The Elemental Towers series represents 5 elements from a world unlike ours. This is how the towers looked like before the corruption arrived to Neo Dinamo. Not many had the chance to see them in their natural state. Towers are elusive and move on their own accord and nobody knows how they came to be and what are their motives. Legends from old speak of special ones who communicate with the towers, but legends are all that remains since no sighting of such individuals was ever officially recorded. People from different factions form beliefs and cult followings of the towers, believing they will bring them to prosperity and clear the corruption from the world.
Earth Tower
Earth Tower is the only tower that stands in the same place since first discovered. That alone makes it the most vulnerable one and susceptible to attacks. It is the closest link to the planet itself and seems to be the extension of it.
Many call it "Mother" and it's followers call themselves "Föld" and share a belief that all beings are one big family. Föld share beliefs that every tree, field and valley is connected to the tower itself and that the "womb" needs to be healed to properly dispose of the ever growing corruption. The four pillars are believed to be links to other towers.
Fire Tower
Only one of the five towers that cannot exist without feeding on something else. Fire Tower is a destructive force, it consumes and creates from destruction, cleansing and purifying in the same vein.
The "Tűz" as the followers like to call themselves are mostly ostracized for following this tower, as their approach is very transformative, but burning everything down and let it arise anew is how they see the solution to the corruption. This tower is both infuser of power and energy as well as fiery passion and strength.
Water Tower
Water tower is associated with emotions and dreams, supporting the subconscious in its ever flowing state. Regarded as a healer, many seek rivers, lakes and seas in which the tower has resided, to imbue themselves with the healing properties of the water.
Followers name themselves "Víz", as they come from everywhere, and seeking togetherness in the flow. Tower does not take fixated form, but mostly disguises itself as an oasis. Corruption has touched the tower, but the Víz believe the ever flowing state will purify the corruption.
Air Tower
Air tower is always seen high up in the sky, forever fleeting, never standing still, mostly seen above the mountain tops. It is said to be a companion of individuals delving into mathematics and science. Air governs all movement, and is associated with freedom, travel, thought and ideas.
Few that still trust that towers can help them believe Air will be the leader of change, and come from the sky to initiate the cleansing of the corruption. The following of this tower has formed in The Underground by the name of "Levegő". Those from below believe the tower will set them free.
Fifth Element The Universe
The Universe is the only tower which takes form of the planet inhabitants. The form is only a projection of the tower, and it's physical location has not been found. Many believe the tower is located in the spacetime and attempts have been made to find it, but it appeared to be a futile attempt. Only lead is the portal that spawns with the projection.
Tower communicates with a few individuals directly through psychic link. Though the communication happens, tower speaks in a bizarre way, in which even those selected for communication cannot understand it. Thoughts of the tower are collected in scriptures for deciphering, but to this day, not even a word can be understood. Tower shows itself with 4 floating orbs and is thought to be in direct control of the other 4 towers, although no certain proof of this has been found. Followers of the other 4 towers all respect The Universe, some more than others, but it still has dedicated believers, "Világegyetem", as they like to call themselves
